Biology AP "Cell Respiration"
Biology AP has been hard at work during the course of the year, preparing for their AP exams in May. As part of their preparation, Mr. Hattier has assigned several labs for his class to do. The latest lab has been to show his students how cellular respiration occurs.

The class used dry pea seeds, germinating pea seeds, and glass beads to observe the release of carbon dioxide from the three sources. Each of the three sources were put in a separate vial, and sealed. The vial was then submerged in water and left until the end of the day.

At the end of the day, the AP students returned to finish up their lab. The gas released from each of the seeds and glass beads was then measured and recorded. Mr. Hattier then explained to his class how the lab was related to their class studies.
