Comets win first playoff game

On Wednesday, April 29, the Comets defeated Richwood in the opening round of the play-offs 16-0. Henri' Faucheux pitched all three innings and held Richwood scoreless. The Comets will play the winner of Albany and DeLaSalle next week.

Comets beat Plaquemine in final district game

On Tuesday, April 22, the Comets handled the Plaquemine Green Devils in a 5 inning 10-0 victory. Marc Picciola pitched the first 4 innings, and Alex Marse finished out the last inning. Marc Picciola and Brady Hitt both came up with home runs. The Comets improve their district record to 7-1. The Comets will travel to Thibodaux on Thursday.

Keating No-Hits Pelicans in Comets Victory

The Comets knocked off the Port Allen Pelicans in a 15-0 route. Jared Keating pitched for the Comets and threw 14 strikeouts and had a no-hitter in all 6 innings. Alex Marse had a great day at the plate, hitting 4 for 5 with a triple and a double with 4 rbi's. Nick Reine also went 2 for 3 on the day. The Comets have a record of 22-3-1 and will take on the Plaquemine Green Devils on Tuesday at Comet Field.
