Comets defeat Brusly, win district champioship

The Comets defeated the Brusly Panthers for the second time this past Tuesday. The Comets came out on top in the 1st. Courtney Western led the game off with a base hit. Katie Reine would then hit in Courtney after she stole second. Brusly responded in the second making it 1-1. The Comets fought back the next inning. Lauen Coniglio walked and stole second and third. Brooke Becker would get the rbi. The Comets held the Panthers throughout the rest of the game. Lauren Coniglio would make the score 3-1 hitting a solo home run. The girls are now 6-0 in district and are the District Champions. Good job Ladies, keep up the success.
