Riverside Tournament

The Comets played in the Riverside Tournament on March 27-29. Our girls competed very well in all games. The First game was against Ascension Catholic. Both teams played very hard in this game. The Comets came out on top 4-1. The winning pitcher was Courtney Western. The second game was against South Beauregard. The Comets won 3-1 with the help of Lauren Coniglio and Courtney Western. Lauren went 2-2 with a homerun and a base hit. Courtney Western went 2-3 with two rbi's. The winning pitcher was Ashley Trosclair. The third game was played against Riverside. The Comets scored 3 runs in the first inning and 4 runs in the rest of the game. The Comets won 7-0. Courtney Western went 2-3 and the winning pitcher was Courtney Western. The final game of the tournament was played against Ascension Catholic. Ascenison Catholic won 3-1. Courtney Western went 2-3. The Comets won 3 out of 4 games in the Riverside Tournament.
