Regional Track Results

The Comets traveled to Port Allen on Wednesday, April 29, to compete in the Regional Track Meet. Justin Vicknair qualified for state by placing 3rd in the 110m high hurdles, and he also placed 4th in the 300m high hurdles. Reyna Lubin placed 6th in the 800m run and 5th in the 300m high hurdles. Erica Blank placed 6th in the 1600m run. Brett Landry also placed 6th in the 1600m run. Chris Graugnard placed 6th in the 3200m run. Justin Vicknair and Coach Jerry will attending the State Meet at LSU on May 9.

District Track Meet Results

The Comets traveled to Port Allen on Wednesday, April 22, to compete in the District Track Meet. In the Girls Long Jump, Reyna Lubin placed 3rd and scored 4 points for the Comets. In the Boys Javelin Throw, Tim Boesen placed 5th and scored 1 point for the Comets. In the Girls 1600 Meter Run, Erica Blank placed 2nd and scored 6 points for the Comets. In the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles, Kendra Harris placed 5th and scored 1 point for the Comets. In the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles, Justin Vicknair placed 2nd and scored 5 points. In the Boys 100 Meter Dash, Courtland Taylor placed 4th and scored 2 points for the Comets. In the Girls 800 Meter Run, Reyna Lubin placed 2nd and scored 6 points. In the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles, Reyna Lubin placed 2nd and scored 6 points. In the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles, Justin Vicknair placed 1st and scored 8 points. In the Girls 3200 Meter Run, Olivia Burns placed 2nd and scored 6 points. In the Boys 3200 Meter Run, Brett Landry placed 2nd and Chris Graugnard placed 3rd scoring 10 points for the Comets. In the Girls 4x400 Meter Relay, Leila Boudreaux, Megan Vollenweider, Tiffany Mitchell, and Katelyn Vitrano placed 4th and scored 2 points. Reyna Lubin, Erica Blank, Brett Landry, Justin Vicknair, Courtland Taylor, Olivia Burns, Leila Boudreaux, Tiffany Mitchell, Katelyn Vitrano, and Megan Vollenweider all qualified for the Regional Track Meet which will be held at Port Allen on Wednesday, April 29.
