The Comets volleyball season ended in the quarterfinals of the state tournament at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner.The Comets made it to the quarterfinals by defeating Cecilia in the regional round of the playoffs on Wednesday of the tournament. The games against E.D.White were very competitive even though the Cardinals swept the Comets in three games by scores of 25-16,25-20, and 25-23. By advancing to the quarterfinals the team went one step further than last year.The Comets went 8-0 in district play making them undisputed district champions. The Comets competed against tough competition throughout the year and ended their season with an overall record of 24-15. Congratulations on a great season. Good Luck Seniors!!
