The Comets picked up a big win 21-6 on the road against the East Ascension Spartans. The Comet defense dominated the Spartans offense forcing five turnovers. The Comet offense also did a great job of making points off of the turnovers putting up 21.

After a disappointing loss last week against Higgins, the Comets were determined to make sure this game would not have the same results. The Comets did nothing extraordinary to win. The defense had two chances to recover a fumble, and Matt Jaques and Dylan Klibert were there when the ball was on the ground. The Comets also came up with three interceptions by Tim Bosen, Dylan Klibert, and Justin Vicknair.

The offense came up big when they needed to. The Comets rushing game came up big. Between running backs Stafford Jones and Courtland Taylor combined for three touchdowns and 110 rushing yards.
