It didn't take long for the Comets to get on the scoreboard in the second half as junior running back Jonathan Cancienne ran 85 yards on the first play of the second half. Chris Ilski's PAT put the Comets ahead 15-0. The play seemed to ignite the Comet offense which went on to score two more times in the quarter builiding a 29-0 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Cancienne rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns scoring on runs of 9 and 2 yards following his 85 yard run. The Comet defense continued to dominate posting its second shut-out of the year. Defnsive Jordan Millet intercepted a pass in the second half in the game's only turnover.
