The Comets advance to the regional game in the playoffs, after defeating the Rayne Wolves 31-6. The Comets' record is 9-1 overall and they are preparing to play a very good Redemptorist team this upcoming Friday.

The Comet offense had a very good game on the ground picking up 276 yards rushing. Courtland Taylor lead the offense with 163 yards rushing and one touchdown. Michael Brock had a good game rushing for 77 yards. Henri Faucheux and Alex Marse connected on 3 passes for 68 yards one of them for a touchdown.

The Comet defense played hard and fought 'til the end of the game, not allowing the Wolves any points after they scored on their first possesion. The Comets swarmed the ball and hit the Wolves behind the line of scrimmage 7 times for a loss of 26 yards. Justin Vicknair came up with two big interceptions in the game.

The Comets did not play their best football Friday night, but they got the win. Come support the Comets Friday as they host the Redemtorist Wolves in Laplace at 7:00.
