Eighth Grade ceremony recognizes 25 eighth graders
The Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony was held Wednesday night in the Comet gym. The class of 25 was the largest eighth grade class since an eighth garde was added to SCC 4 years ago. Emily and Elizabeth Picciola were named outstanding eighth grade girls while Donnie Savoie III was named the outstanding eighth grade boy. The Senior Awards ceremony will be held Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the gym. Graduation for the Class of 2008 will be held Friday night at 7 p.m. at Ascension of Our Lord church.
