Claire Loisel - " I was happy to know that I could make a difference even though I was a little lightheaded."
Robby Carter- " Although I felt slightly weakened, I felt as though the blood went to an excellent cause." |

The blood drive held for George Loupe on Thursday March 23 was a huge success. The goal of 35 units was easily surpassed as SCC students, parents, and faculty participated. Anyone who was unable to give blood Thursday can still do so by visiting the Blood Center at 123 Belle Terre Blvd. in LaPlace. George, son of George Sr. and Tricia Loupe, is a 16 year old sophomore who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December of 2004. He remained in remission until Hurricane Katrina and by October 10th, 2005 he had his spleen removed and resumed chemotherapy and blood transfusions. Please keep George in your prayers during this challenging time. |
