March for Life

A group of SCC students went to Washington D.C. to represent the Archdiocese of New Orleans at the annual National Pro-Life March. The students flew out of New Orleans on the morning of Saturday, January 20th and returned Tuesday night. Mr. Doug Triche the Assistant Principal and Mr.Don Fernandez the Development Director went with a group of SCC students: Sarah Triche, Mari Jaregui, Candace McGaff, Kayce Fruchtnicht, Brittany Fryoux, Raleigh Benoit, Meg Gustafson, Bryn Robicheaux, and Emily Jaubert. The group was able to tour the Smithsonian Museums, several memorials including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington National Monument, and the White House. The 34th annual March for Life was held Monday, January 22 and was followed by a reception at the Capitol with Louisiana's pro-life delegates.
