The Sophomores started off the new school year by attending a retreat on August 8. The retreat was held at the K.C. hall near St. Joan of Arc. When we interviewed a couple SCC students and a faculty member, nothing but positive feedback come from them. Sophomore, Kendriana Harris was asked what she thought about the retreat, she quickly responded " It was kool! The best part was when Courtney gave us a speech. He was real nice and funny." Charles Wolfe also agreed that the speaker was great and interesting. Coach Ty Monica claims that this is the best one that he has ever been to." The guest speaker, Courtney, was down to earth and told it like it was." Also, "the skits were really good and brought reality into the picture."
